MISSION: We the people of St. Philip’s Evangelical Lutheran Church are the Living Body of Christ where people REACH OUT IN LOVE to each other and to the community with the Gospel and with an emphasis on equipping each person, especially our youth, for the continuing ministry of the Church.
ST. PHILIP'S FOCUS
St. Philip’s focuses on the purposeful action of winning and converting souls to a life with God and with each other, in addition to reaching out with the Gospel in the spirit of Christ to all souls. We understand that as children of God we are not perfect but God is, therefore, teaching the word of God and the Holy Trinity, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit helps us in our everyday walk.
The Lutheran faith is based on the bible based teachings of Martin Luther who’s reformation of the Christian Church can be described as Grace alone, Faith alone and Scripture alone.
